I can't believe I'm back!

I defintely had mixed emotions apon returning to Germany.. At the close of my DTS in March I promised myself that I wouldn't come back, and now here I am. I expected snow and dressed accordingly, but instead I was greeted with warm rain. I was supposed to meet someone at the airport to help me get to the castle, but we never found eachother-so I ended up taking the train alone. This was stressful at first but it turned out to be a really cool experiance. Strangers helped me to purchase my train tickets, and carry my luggage to the central station and during the travel I met a wonderfully witty elderly couple. They spoke excellant english and basically told me their whole life stories about what it was like to grow up in the aftermath of the war, and of how they fell in love with eachother, and of hardships and of joyful memories. Speaking with these two encouraged me to continue keeping a journal of my experiences, so that I will never forget how God has worked in my life.
I arrived at the castle safe and sound, slept for 3 days, and then started leadership training with the rest of the team. Since I've had the opportunity to get to know the team better, I'm really content here. I'm excited to see how God works in the lifes of the students, staff and castle community- and of course I'm going to record everything in my handy dandy journal! :)
